Swanton Pacific Railroad Open House Events

 

Swanton Pacific Railroad is open to the public on a limited basis.  Twice a year, generally in April and early October, Cal Poly and the Swanton Pacific Railroad Society hosts open house events that allows the public to ride the 1/3 scale railroad built by Al Smith.  Tickets for these events are sold on a first come first served basis. Ticket sales normally open about six to eight weeks ahead of the event date. 

Events - 

• Due to fire damage and the COVID-19 pandemic, no railroad events are planned at this time.

Informal Visits -

• Under current COVID-19 guidelines, public visits to Swanton Pacific Railroad are not allowed.
